Annual Salary: $106,075 - $142,150 DOE/DOQ
The City of Roseville, California, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Water Utility Division in the Environmental Utilities Department (EUD). This Senior Engineer is a newly created position that will work with engineering staff, managers, and senior-level executives across multiple City departments. The ideal candidate will have a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise in hydrological processes, water supply systems, and water resource management. They will have the ability to analyze data and implement strategies to optimize water usage and promote sustainability. This Senior Engineer should be proficient in engineering principles, practices, and methodologies related to water utilities and environmental systems, and have strong analytical skills to assess complex engineering challenges and devise effective solutions.   See the full recruitment brochure here THE IDEAL SENIOR ENGINEER The ideal Engineer has a specialized civil/environmental engineering background in water, wastewater, and solid waste. They also have a broad understanding of engineering principles, with experience working on multidisciplinary teams, giving them the confidence to lead engineering teams and offer input. To effectively communicate and coordinate with different levels of City staff and stakeholders, this engineer will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently. This expertise will be vital in effectively overseeing and executing a wide range of capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing the city's water utilities and environmental systems. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be familiar with pertinent local, state, and federal laws, ordinances, and rules.
