ANNUAL SALARY: $172,536 – $235,644

Description:
The County of Monterey is seeking a strong, collaborative, and experienced human resources professional who can take an already well-functioning Human Resources Department to the next level. The ideal candidate will be a strategist who operates in a results-driven, hands-on fashion and demonstrates the ability to multi-task and be flexible to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Any combination of training, education and/or experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities and required conditions of employment listed above is qualifying. An example of a way these requirements might be acquired, include completion of all course work leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Personnel Administration, or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources management, including at least three (3) years of public sector experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity. Human resources experience in the California public sector is highly desirable.
